The HALO Foundation
Mission: To help one more child spend one less day alone, HALO provides a safe haven of healing and hope for homeless or high-risk situations.
HALO is a beacon of hope for homeless and at-risk youth, offering a foundation of love, support, and practical life skills. In Jefferson City, the HALO Girls Home provides housing for pregnant, parenting, and non-parenting girls ages 16-21, as well as their children, while the HALO Boys Program creates a safe space for teen boys to heal, grow, and build positive futures. Beyond housing, HALO fills the gaps left by other organizations by partnering with shelters and programs to ensure every need is met. With a mix of heart, hustle, and transformative care, HALO empowers youth to defy the odds, rediscover their value, and become contributing members of their communities.
At HALO, we provide more than just shelter—we provide a home where hope flourishes and futures are built. Our programs serve homeless and at-risk youth with safe housing, education, life skill development, and healing through art, therapy, and community support. In Jefferson City, our Girls Home and Boys Program deliver nurturing environments, connecting teens to resources, role models, and opportunities for growth. By addressing needs ranging from surviving daily life to thriving as independent adults, we ensure that every child we serve spends one less day alone and one more day realizing their potential.
