Council for Drug Free Youth host our annual ice-cream social event every year in August. This event is an opportunity for the community to view the showcasing of our three different peer-to-peer performance groups known as Safety Kids, Show-Me Players and UPLIFT. These three groups of student role models in the community travel to various elementary schools through out the school year to promote the message of drug-free life through music, song, dance and skits. During the ice-cream social we provide hotdogs, ice cream, cake, drinks and entertainment. This year's event will be held at Capital West Christian Church Event Center.
Clean up will be
- putting away and moving tables and chairs
- picking up trash
- emptying trash cans
