The Executive Leadership Committee (ELC) for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Sedalia is a group of dedicated business and community leaders committed to making a lasting impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s. ELC members play a key role in the success of the Walk by leveraging their networks, influence, and leadership to help drive sponsorship, team recruitment, and fundraising efforts.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an ambassador for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s within your professional and personal networks.

  • Help identify and engage potential corporate sponsors and community partners.

  • Lead by example by forming a Walk team and setting a fundraising goal.

  • Attend periodic committee meetings (flexible scheduling).

  • Provide strategic input and connections to grow Walk participation and fundraising.

  • Inspire other business and community leaders to get involved.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Well-connected in the local business or civic community.

  • Willing to use their voice and influence to engage others.

  • Committed to attending meetings and supporting Walk efforts.
