Capitol Projects

Who We Are

Mission: To operate and administer a meaningful and dignified sheltered workshop to employ people with disabilities.

Established in the 1960s, Capitol Projects is a non-profit 501(c)3 sheltered workshop for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities within and around the Jefferson City community. Our employees take pride in their jobs and the work that they accomplish. This safe and secure environment has been a reliable partner for a variety of businesses in Missouri for over 50 years!

Capitol Projects bases its work on the idea of unity. It brings together disabled members of the community in and around Mid-Missouri so they can be presented with equal opportunities for a career. We strive to create a meaningful work environment for adults who are faced with disabilities and to unite the community to help build a strong relationship throughout Mid-Missouri!

What We Do

We provide dignified and meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Capitol Projects is a non-profit organization so we welcome any volunteer help from members in the community. You will be able to do tasks like assembling, sorting, mailing, and other various tasks with the help of our employees
