Mission: To create change by equipping thousands of Mid-Missouri women with the resources needed to attain long-term employment and success – ultimately building skilled leaders in our community. We provide professional attire and interview preparation to women ready to enter the workforce . Our programs offer women an opportunity to participate in workshops based on their individual needs, including job search skills, career education, and job retention. Thanks to our generous donors, all services are delivered at no cost to our clients

Founded in 2000, Dreams to Reality (DTR) empowers women in need by providing interview and career-appropriate attire to help them succeed in the workplace. Dreams to Reality partners with hundreds of organizations representing over 100 non-profit agencies, community groups, colleges and universities in the Central Missouri area to refer job-ready women. Client referrals are vital for DTR to continue to fulfill our mission.

Dreams to Reality helps women achieve their career goals by providing interview and work attire tailored to their needs.

Upon referral, a client attends a “fashion fitting” appointment where she receives one-on-one attention from a volunteer professional image consultant to select clothes. Clients receive a week’s worth of clothing suitable for various work environments, boosting their confidence and preparedness.

Women are introduced to the Career Lab during their “Fashion Fitting” appointment and are encouraged to continue to utilize the Career Lab and resources to strengthen their job search and professional development as an unlimited resource.  Once a client lands a job, she is invited to become a member of the Dare2Dream Mentoring program. All services are free of charge for every woman we serve.
