Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland serves girls in central and southern Missouri, southeast Kansas, and northeast Oklahoma.  We empower young women through engaging programs, community service, and leadership development. Guided by the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law, we provide girls with the tools and opportunities to grow, lead, and succeed.

We inspire and prepare girls to thrive by offering programs in STEM, outdoor adventure, life skills, and entrepreneurship. From earning badges to leading community projects, Girl Scouts gain valuable experiences that build confidence and leadership skills. Our camps, volunteer-led troops, and council-sponsored events create safe, inclusive spaces for girls to explore their interests, develop friendships, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Your talents and experience have the power to change girls’ lives. As a Girl Scout volunteer, you’ll help craft their experiences—from the way they run their cookie businesses to the way they speak up in meetings. You’ll also teach them the skills and give them the confidence they need to bring their unique ideas to life and make changes that they never thought possible. As girls learn, grow, and lead, you’re there through it all—shaping the future right along with us. And while you teach them important life lessons and set them up for happy, successful lives, you’ll grow too—honing your own leadership and organizational skills. It’s a win-win.
