Special Learning Center

Mission: To provide education, care, therapy, and outreach services to children with diverse developmental abilities.

Special Learning Center is a private, not for profit agency with a mission of helping children with disabilities reach their maximum potential. Throughout the last 35 years, the Special Learning Center has grown to serve more than 900 children with special needs each year from 22 school districts and 11 counties in Central Missouri.

The Special Learning Center provides comprehensive services for children with special needs and their families, offering a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Our programs include early intervention, therapy services, specialized education, and family support, all tailored to meet each child’s unique needs. With a dedicated team of professionals and a focus on empowerment, we help children reach their full potential and provide families with the resources and support they need for success.
