Kids' Harbor, Inc.

Mission: To provide coordinated response, healing and prevention of child abuse.

Kids’ Harbor, Inc. is a nationally accredited child advocacy center dedicated to providing a coordinated response to child abuse while promoting healing and prevention. Serving the Lake of the Ozarks area, Fort Leonard Wood, and 11 surrounding counties in Central Missouri, Kids’ Harbor supports victims of child abuse and their safe caregivers through the often overwhelming and traumatic process of investigations and recovery.

Founded in 2001 by a community task force in Camdenton, Missouri, Kids’ Harbor has grown to include a satellite office in St. Robert, Missouri, and a primary location in Osage Beach. Both centers are recognized for meeting the highest standards of care by the National Children’s Alliance.

Kids’ Harbor offers comprehensive services to address the needs of child abuse victims and their families, including:

• Forensic Services: Child-friendly forensic interviews and on-site medical exams to reduce trauma and collect evidence.
• Advocacy and Support: Child and family advocates provide resources and guidance throughout investigations and prosecutions.
• Counseling: Licensed clinicians deliver trauma-informed mental health services to children and caregivers.
• Crisis Intervention: Immediate strategies to mitigate the impact of trauma.
• Education and Prevention: Programs for adults, students (K-8), and parents to prevent, recognize, and respond to child abuse.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, Kids’ Harbor ensures victims receive coordinated care, support, and hope for healing.
