JC Schools Foundation
Mission: To champion a legacy of excellence where possibility becomes reality for every student in JC Schools.
The Jefferson City Public Schools Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to raising funds to support teachers and students of the Jefferson City School District.
Securing gifts & funds.
For the past several years the Foundation has awarded over $250,000 to teachers in a variety of school and classroom grants. The Prize Patrol awards funds for schools through innovative teacher ideas, science, math and technology needs, literacy materials, professional development group training, and other fine arts curriculum needs.
Events for families.
One of the most popular events includes our Princess and Papa dances for elementary aged girls and the important men in their lives. We also enjoy sharing the spirit of Christmas with our Southwest Early Childhood Center preschoolers during Santa Day.
Managing Funds for the benefit of students and teachers.
The JCPS Foundation invests donor dollars to grow perpetually. By investing our funds, we can serve our students, families, and teachers longer than the gift has been designated for.
Assist with the scholarship program for graduating seniors.
Lifting up graduating Seniors through the Common Scholarship program is another wonderful way we serve our students and families. As Seniors prepare to take the next steps in their educational journeys, we work with donors to choose deserving recipients for many scholarships.
