Who We Are
Mission: To be an irresistible catalyst of change for the love of Jesus Christ.
At First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City, we are dedicated to building relationships beyond our church walls and creating life-changing worship and learning opportunities for people of all ages. We strive to “Love Better” in both our local community and the world, welcoming everyone into our congregation.
What We Do
We offer a variety of programs and services to support our mission, including:
- Worship Services: Traditional and contemporary services are held on Sundays, with a casual service on Saturdays.
- NextGen Programs: Engaging activities and learning opportunities for children and youth to foster spiritual growth.
- Community Outreach: Initiatives like the Fresh Start Market, providing essential personal and household items to low-income families.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Various ways to serve within the church and the broader community, such as participating in the landscaping team or assisting with NextGen programs.
Through these efforts, we aim to embody the teachings of Christ and make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
