Catholic Charities Spring Clean-Up

It takes a village to keep our facility and grounds in tip-top shape and this project is perfect for a Mr. (or Ms.) Fixit who loves working with their hands. What jobs do we have in mind? Power-washing our deck and walkways, patching/painting walls, steam-cleaning carpets, and weeding garden beds, just to name a few. While this opportunity doesn't involve direct client-care, we regularly hear how much our neighbors appreciate our attention to maintaining the building. Volunteers should arrive by 9 AM for orientation. Dress comfortably and should wear close-toed shoes. Adult volunteers (18+ and no longer in high school) must be Safe Environment compliant through the Diocese of Jefferson City, which typically includes an online child-safety training course and background check through the VIRTUS platform. For those serving only one time in a calendar year, completing a Single Occasion Form will fulfill Safe Environment requirements. Volunteers will be asked to complete a Liability Waiver and Media Authorization when arriving onsite.
