Rape and Abuse Crisis Service

Mission: To support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking through advocacy, counseling, and shelter services in a space designed for healing and hope.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that strives to ensure that survivors obtain the tools they need to heal from trauma experienced by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
In 1980, RACS started as a volunteer hotline to assist survivors of domestic violence. Today RACS provides cost free counseling, advocacy, case management, and emergency shelter to over 700 survivors a year! While we may have grown, volunteers are just as important today as they were over 40 years ago.
We serve men, women and children that are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. We do this by providing a safe temporary shelter, advocacy, counseling and case management.
We can’t do this work without the dedication of our amazing volunteers! Please review our volunteer opportunities and visit our website to see if RACS is right for you!
